About the role
Join a highly respected, growing business litigation practice in its Dallas office. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes commercial disputes while receiving meaningful courtroom experience, direct client interaction, and mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Handle hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Develop case strategy alongside experienced litigation attorneys
- Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Collaborate on complex business disputes involving contracts, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, partnership disputes, and other commercial matters
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
- 3–7 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Experience managing discovery and taking depositions
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to independently manage cases while working collaboratively within a team

Pay
$140,000 - $170,000 per year
