About the Role

A well-regarded litigation firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing Houston office. This opportunity offers a broad mix of complex commercial disputes, significant responsibility from day one, and a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial litigation matters through all phases of the litigation process
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive court filings
• Conducting legal research and developing case strategy
• Handling written discovery, depositions, and e-discovery matters
• Appearing at hearings, mediations, court conferences, and other litigation proceedings
• Working directly with clients, experts, and colleagues to achieve successful outcomes
• Managing multiple matters while delivering exceptional client service

Requirements

• 4+ years' commercial litigation experience
• Experience handling matters in both state and federal courts
• Strong motion practice experience, including dispositive motions
• Experience with written discovery, depositions, and e-discovery
• Excellent legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Admission to the Texas Bar
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
