Commercial Litigation Associate (Junior to Mid-Level)

About the role

Venable LLP’s Commercial Litigation Group seeks a junior to mid-level associate with two to five years of experience to join the practice in the Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial litigation activities, including complex commercial litigation.
• Participate in marketing and business development activities, including client pitches and presentations.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Work well in a team.
• Prepared to take on significant responsibility in Venable's cases.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.

Skills

• Law firm experience preferred.

Benefits

• The salary range for associate positions is $215,000 to $355,000 per year, depending upon associate level.
• The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
