Primary Responsibilities

  • Possess a proven track record of meeting sales or production goals
  • Build relationships with centers of influence such as CPAs, attorneys, real estate professionals, and industry groups
  • Create long-term partnerships that promote retention and recurring revenue
  • Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetites, and emerging commercial risks
  • Actively participate in agency marketing initiatives and campaigns

Required Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer License
  • 3+ years of commercial insurance sales or related business-to-business experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management concepts
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with business owners
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and goal-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency with CRM/Agency Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Business Development Duties
