About the role

This individual will oversee the loan process, ensuring accuracy and timely commercial loan documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Commercial Lending Processors
  • Develop and manage commercial lending procedures to ensure accuracy and timely commercial loan documentation
  • Train, coach, and mentor direct reports to ensure they meet performance targets and quality standards
  • Collaborate with other areas in the commercial lending process to resolve issues and improve the overall commercial lending processing operations
  • Troubleshoot questions as brought forth by direct reports
  • Aid in various tasks such as documenting and booking loans, ordering third party reports for loan transactions, and posting payments
  • Process all loans assigned, including the most complex files
  • Ensure all documentation is regulator compliant (i.e. Reg B, HMDA, Flood Certifications, etc.)
  • Ensure all direct reports are up to date on compliance training
  • Analyze, understand and interpret loan policy and apply to loan requests
  • Ensure accurate, complete and timely loan data on processing system
  • Ensure post-closing findings are addressed in a timely manner by direct reports
  • Perform research needed to resolve client problems in a timely manner
  • Serve as backup to other documentation specialists
  • Undertake special projects and duties as assigned
  • Acknowledge timecards and time off requests of all direct reports
  • Perform annual performance evaluations for all direct reports
  • Recruit, hire and train as needed new employees for area supervised
  • Mentor and motivate direct reports to exceed monthly target goals

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial lending processing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (Reg B, HMDA, Flood Certifications, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
