Commercial Insurance Sales Producer Pennsylvania
Our Landenberg, Pennsylvania insurance office is seeking a driven Commercial Insurance Sales Producer to join our growing team. We serve businesses throughout Chester County and the surrounding region, including Kennett Square, West Grove, Oxford, Avondale, and nearby communities in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
About the role
In this position, you will work closely with local business owners to understand their risks and develop tailored commercial insurance solutions that protect their companies as they grow. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced commercial insurance sales professional who understands the commercial insurance marketplace and enjoys building long-term relationships with business owners.
As an independent insurance agency, our producers work with a wide network of top-rated insurance carriers, allowing them to design tailored insurance programs for clients across many industries rather than being limited to a single company’s products. We provide strong internal service support so producers can focus on building relationships, generating new business, and growing a long-term book of commercial insurance clients.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with business owners, property managers, contractors, and decision-makers throughout the region
- Identify business insurance needs and present appropriate commercial insurance coverage solutions
- Work with our internal service team to develop insurance quotes and proposals
- Present coverage options and guide clients through the commercial insurance purchasing process
- Develop referral relationships with business professionals, lenders, real estate professionals, and community partners
- Continue expanding your book of business through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building
Pay
Our compensation model is designed for long-term income growth and book ownership. Producers earn:
- 50% commission on new business
- 50% commission on renewal business
This level of renewal participation is uncommon in the insurance industry and allows producers to build a valuable long-term income stream as their book grows. Because our internal service team handles day-to-day account servicing, producers are able to focus their time on business development, networking, and client relationships rather than administrative work.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required
- Prior experience selling commercial insurance products
- Proven ability to generate and close new business insurance accounts
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Self-driven professional comfortable managing a sales pipeline and prospecting activity
