Seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Commercial Insurance Sales Producer to join a dynamic team. This role involves identifying, developing, and maintaining meaningful relationships with businesses to address their insurance needs. Responsibilities include providing tailored commercial insurance solutions to new and existing clients while achieving sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Actively generate and pursue leads to grow a profitable book of business in commercial insurance lines.
- Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients to identify their insurance needs.
- Provide customized, comprehensive insurance solutions and coverage recommendations to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, insurance products, and competitive market conditions.
- Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of policies, renewals, and claims.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with carriers to meet client needs and secure favorable terms.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state insurance laws and licensing requirements.
Requirements
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Proven experience as an insurance producer, preferably in the commercial insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, markets, and underwriting guidelines.
- Exceptional sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients.
- Strong ability to analyze client risks and craft appropriate insurance solutions.
- Proficiency in insurance agency management software and common productivity tools (MS Office, CRM platforms, etc.).
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and client-centered industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
