Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative
About the role
This role is designed for someone with 3+ years of commercial insurance experience, preferably in an independent insurance agency setting. We are looking for someone who already understands commercial lines workflows, knows how to support business clients, and can step into a busy agency environment with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day service support for commercial insurance clients.
- Handle certificates of insurance, evidence of insurance, endorsements, policy changes, billing questions, audits, claims-related service questions, and general client requests.
- Assist with commercial renewals, including gathering updated information, preparing applications, following up with clients, and supporting remarketing when needed.
- Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, lenders, mortgage companies, producers, and internal team members.
- Review policies, endorsements, applications, certificates, and other documents for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate client files, notes, activities, documents, and follow-up items in the agency management system.
- Support producers and account managers with commercial lines workflows and client service needs.
- Help identify missing information, coverage concerns, cross-sell opportunities, and account rounding opportunities when appropriate.
- Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and follow through on open items without needing constant reminders.
- Work closely with the team to keep commercial service items moving and ensure clients receive timely, professional support.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of commercial lines insurance experience preferred. Experience in an independent insurance agency strongly preferred. Oklahoma Property & Casualty license preferred, or ability to obtain quickly. Familiarity with commercial lines coverages such as General Liability, Commercial Property, Business Auto, Workers Compensation, Inland Marine, Umbrella, Professional Liability, and related policies. Experience working with carrier websites, agency management systems, email, phone systems, and standard office technology. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and client requests at once. Professional, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in an in-office team environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling the daily service needs of commercial accounts. This includes certificates, endorsements, policy changes, audits, billing questions, renewal support, carrier follow-up, and client communication.

Pay
Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
