Commercial Insurance Account Manager - Hybrid/Remote

About the role

We are an established agency seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager with clear knowledge and understanding of commercial insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Service a large, established book of business
• Prepare proposals, policy summaries, and reviews
• Review applications and contracts for accuracy
• Handle new and renewal business
• Work with multiple carriers, both admitted and non-admitted
• Ensure retention for all assigned accounts

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of multiple lines of commercial coverage
• Prior experience in a client-facing role, building and maintaining relationships
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to support sales and drive agency revenue
• Apply problem-solving techniques to issues including cancellations, claims, renewal issues, audits, receivables, and carrier issues
• Experience working in an independent brokerage setting
• Active P&C license required
