Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Steele Insurance Associates, an independent property & casualty insurance agency, is looking for a consultant-minded insurance agent to join our growing team. Since 1948, we’ve served commercial and personal insurance clients with a focus on understanding risk exposures, building trust, and fostering long-term relationships.

About the role

We are seeking a professional and knowledgeable Commercial Lines Account Executive to develop and nurture relationships with commercial clients, grow the book of business, and maximize profitable relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify new commercial insurance opportunities
• Develop relationships with clients and prospective clients
• Respond to inquiries from clients and prospective clients
• Provide accurate proposals
• Monitor and report on key metrics regarding sales targets
• Participate in regular continuing education classes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and information

Requirements

• Active insurance license
• Previous experience as a personal or commercial lines producer or in a similar role
• Proven track record of B2B sales experience
• Skilled in negotiation and communication
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
