About the role
As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, rooftop units, chillers, and ventilation systems.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC system malfunctions and component failures.
- Inspect and test HVAC systems to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific HVAC requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance and repair logs.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging HVAC technologies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with HVAC control systems and ability to diagnose and resolve control-related issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid HVAC technician license/certification, as required by state regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces, as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
