Commercial HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system tune-ups
• Install and replace HVAC equipment and components as needed
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend corrective solutions
• Complete warranty and service-related work accurately and efficiently
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members
• Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency service needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working with commercial rooftop units, split systems, package units, controls, and refrigeration equipment
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts
