Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
- Solve problems independently and as part of a team
- Communicate effectively with customers and support staff
- Stock and maintain your van and tools
- Provide quality service and integrity on a daily basis
- Be available for nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies
- Invest in your skills through training and certifications
- Pass a background check and have a valid driver's license
Requirements
- Universal EPA certification
- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience, with refrigeration experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
- Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic technology skills for navigating mobile apps and documentation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and move heavy objects frequently
- Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces
- Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights
- Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods
- Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements

Pay
The base pay for this position is up to $45 an hour, determined based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Please note that this is subject to change based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Technicians are dispatched from home and paid door-to-door. Specific schedules may vary based on customer needs and availability.
