Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
- Solve problems independently and as part of a team
- Communicate effectively with customers and support staff
- Stock and maintain your van and tools
- Provide quality service and integrity every day
- Be available for nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies
Requirements
- Universal EPA certification
- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
- Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic technology skills for navigating mobile apps and documentation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and move heavy objects frequently
- Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces
- Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights
- Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods
- Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements

Pay
The base pay for this position is up to $45 an hour, determined based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Technicians are dispatched from home and paid door-to-door. Specific schedules vary based on customer needs and availability.

Universal EPA certification, strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles, proficiency in reading schematics and work plans, effective communication and teamwork skills, basic technology skills, physical stamina, and adherence to safety procedures are all required.
