Commercial HVAC Installation Technician (5 years' experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Commercial Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, and humidifiers, following manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Wiring: Carry out wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment.
• Ductwork: Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in commercial buildings.
• Refrigerant Lines: Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.
• Gas Lines: Ensure proper connection of gas lines to heating equipment.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely, including job reports and inventory logs.
• Training: Provide guidance and training to HVAC installer helpers to develop their skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Licenses: Valid Kentucky Journeyman License.
• Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge, ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work at heights.
• Certifications: Universal EPA Certification preferred.
• Driving: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• References: Must be able to provide references.
