Commercial Framing Foreman

Sands Wall Systems is a leading full-service Commercial Framing and Drywall Contractor with over 30 years of business success in Sioux Falls and Rapid City, South Dakota, as well as, Dickinson, ND. Responsibilities

• Manage commercial projects around the Dakota's and the surrounding area.
• Supervise employees on the job site.
• Lead a crew, providing technical advice and coordinating material and manpower with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintained on the job site.
• Manage one's own time and the time of employees under your supervision to work together to accomplish tasks.
• Be a leader on our team and contribute to a supportive family-friendly company culture.

Requirements

• Prefer 3 or more years of experience.
• Valid driver's license to drive a commercial vehicle to projects with a clean driving record.
• A thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel stud framing.
• Forward-thinking with organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills to manage one's own time and the time of employees under your supervision.
• Leadership skills and effective communication skills to supervise a crew.
• Ability to read blueprints and do a layout.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight stays for some jobs.
