Responsibilities
- Safety Leadership: Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and immediately address any safety hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Team Supervision: Direct and supervise the activities of on-site crew members and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and correctly.
- Project Scheduling: Maintain construction schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and according to project requirements.
- Client Relations: Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and employees through clear communication and professional interactions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed written and photographic documentation of daily work completed, safety issues, and any damages caused by other trades.
- Reporting: Ensure all job reports and necessary documents are completed and submitted accurately and on time.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring proper understanding and execution of project plans.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Foreman in the construction industry, with specific experience in metal framing, drywall, FRP work, finishing work, acoustical ceilings, and doors and frames.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing crews and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially when interacting with client representatives and project teams.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and PDF tools.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel: Ability to travel and work out of territory as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check.
