About the role

Sands Wall Systems is a leading full-service Commercial Framing and Drywall Contractor with over 30 years of business success. The Commercial Framing Foreman position involves managing commercial projects in Rapid City and the surrounding areas, focusing on the Western half of South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial projects in Rapid City and the surrounding areas
• Supervise employees on the job site
• Lead a crew, providing technical advice and coordinating material and manpower with the Project Manager
• Read blueprints and do layouts
• Coordinate with the Project Manager
• Work closely with the team to achieve project goals

Requirements

• Prefer 3 or more years of experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel stud framing
• Organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
• Leadership skills and effective communication skills
• Able to read blueprints and do a layout
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight stays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in steel stud framing
• Strong organizational and leadership skills

Pay

The pay is very competitive, offering full-time year-round work, weekly pay, per diem, gas card, cell phone, bonus, and paid lodging for out-of-town work.

Schedule

You will not be driving your own vehicle or staying out-of-town weeks at a time. Team members work Monday - Thursday, and have three days off each week. Some team members prefer the 4-day schedule for longer breaks.
