Commercial Foreman-Refrigeration (EG)

Responsibilities

• Serves as Technical Lead and Crew Chief on assigned projects.
• Serves as Lead Technical resource on assigned projects.
• Reports on job status and performance.
• Controls job costs.
• Develops and maintains productive relationships with peers, customers, GCs and subcontractors.
• Ensures use of PPE and the application of safe behavior, including vehicle safety, by all employees.
• Ensures compliance of Installation policies and procedures, including project tracking, safety, time and attendance, etc.
• May oversee 3rd party resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical school.
• College degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or other related industry/trade.
• Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours.
• Able to organize tasks.
• Able to use good judgment in making work assignments.
• Able to give clear instructions and guidance, as needed.
• Able to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as needed.
• Able to ensure safe work practices and ensure compliance with Safety policies.
• Able to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to use computer tools including E-Mail, Word, Project Planning Software (Projectmates), etc.
• Able to manage time, delegate assignments and follow through to ensure good results.
