Commercial Food Service Technician - Commercial & Industrial

Responsibilities

• Aid in the repair and overhaul of commercial food service appliances, hot side equipment, and ventilation to meet customer needs.
• Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely service to customers.
• Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and address operational deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders to relevant departments in a timely manner.
• Pick up, deliver, and install cases as needed.
• Support minor construction and remodeling projects, including startup of new installations.
• Drive company vehicles safely.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school preferred.
• At least 3-4 years of hot side service experience and commercial kitchen appliance service.
• Experience working on hot side equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Good driving record and emergency on-call availability.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance and capable of sitting or standing for extended periods.
