Commercial Food Service Technician - Commercial & Industrial

Responsibilities

• Aid in the repair and overhaul of commercial food service appliances, hot side equipment, and ventilation to meet customer needs.
• Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely service to customers.
• Provide preventative maintenance activities by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Process job tickets, work orders, and support departmental tasks.
• Pick up, deliver, and install cases for minor construction and remodeling projects.
• Drive company vehicles safely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school preferred.
• At least 3-4 years of hot side service experience and commercial kitchen appliance service.
• Experience working on hot side equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• A good driving record and emergency on-call availability are required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance and sit/stand for extended periods.
