Commercial Finance Analyst, Hawthorne, NY - Hybrid

Job Summary

This role supports the Commercial Finance function by delivering financial insights and analysis across pricing, bidding, and customer contract activities. The analyst will partner closely with Sales, Pricing, and Finance teams to evaluate deal profitability, support forecasting, and provide actionable insights on bid performance, margin trends, and commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing strategies, customer bids, and contract terms to evaluate financial impact, profitability, and margin performance
• Perform detailed data entry with a high level of accuracy, ensuring all information is correctly captured and verified
• Manage the Bid Management tool within SAP and improve the process for contract management including updating costs, customer formulary positions, business wins, losses, retains, market share, and other information
• Work closely with Finance and Pricing team to ensure all discounts and rebates are appropriately captured and accounted in SAP Bid Management systems
• Perform ad hoc reports for win loss on bids or RFPs, products, customers, or other such combinations
• Develop and deliver weekly and monthly win/loss reporting, including trend analysis and key drivers
• Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure bid management records are complete and up to date
• Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analysis to support Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership
• Extract and manipulate large datasets using Excel and BI tools to generate actionable insights

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-2 years’ experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, IDN/health system pharmacies or pharmaceutical suppliers preferred
• Experience in SAP systems and data manipulation preferred
• Knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of PowerPoint

Pay

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $82,000 to $100,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
