Commercial Electrical Service Account Manager

About the role

InPwr, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Service Account Manager to join our dynamic team. We are an award-winning electrical design-build firm with offices in various locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manages financials, ensures jobs receive planning and layout, identifies risks and plans essential resources to minimize financial slippage.
• Manages service technician gainshare payout, oversees van stock setup, and supervises procurement and tracking of materials.
• Recognizes and addresses problems early, informs stakeholders, and reviews work orders for trends and satisfaction.
• Reviews and approves submittals, coordinates job scheduling, and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Communicates with customers and technicians, assists with design/build activities, and prepares project status reports.
• Schedules and performs post-mortem reviews, prices and submits change orders, and assures timely completion of punch list items.
• Responds to employee concerns, reviews and ensures accuracy of field reports, and attends job meetings.
• Affords assistance in general business development activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 2 years of technical training, or Construction Management degree.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a Senior technician role, with prior field experience.
• Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and the NEC, and Electrical Estimating background.
• Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and work under pressure.
• Ability to manage and schedule multiple service technicians and projects.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Able to work in Monterey Park, CA, and generate new business within 60 days of hire.

• Physical demands: Frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, adjusting focus, lifting up to 15 pounds, and efficient performance of essential functions.
• Working conditions: Stationary position requiring frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to navigate various conditions and environments, wear personal protective equipment, and conduct site visits.
