Commercial Door Installer

About the role

LaForce is looking for a dedicated Installer to work out of our Minneapolis, MN location. This hands-on role involves installing doors, frames, and hardware in commercial buildings. Tools, safety gear, a company vehicle, and travel to job sites are provided.

Responsibilities

• Install doors, frames, and hardware at customer sites and new commercial projects.
• Read and follow work orders to ensure quality installations.
• Solve problems onsite to adjust or replace materials as needed.
• Adjust or replace existing materials and safely operate power and hand tools.
• Represent LaForce professionally and respectfully on the job.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of carpentry or construction experience (or 1-2 years of military experience).
• Experience with commercial doors and hardware (optional).
• A valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
