Commercial Contract Attorney (In-House hybrid)
About the role
Latitude is seeking an experienced commercial contracts attorney for a part-time engagement opportunity to support the General Counsel of a prominent multimedia company. Applicants must have extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial and technology contracts, including software vendor agreements, and AI-related agreements. In addition, the role will involve developing contract templates for the business teams to improve consistency and efficiency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing technology, software vendor agreements, and related commercial contracts
- Experience developing and implementing contract templates and playbooks
- In-house experience is preferred
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Licensed to practice law in state of residence
- Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
- Outstanding professional references
Position Details
- Type of role: Contract engagement
- Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 15 hours/week)
- Location: Hybrid (at least once/week in Minneapolis office)
- Timing: August
- Compensation: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
