About the role

The Commercial Construction Superintendent oversees all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage teams of subcontractors and ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and implement safety plans to prevent accidents and injuries on site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in construction management.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations.
