Commercial Construction Superintendent

We're partnering with a well-established and growing commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join their growing team and lead the day-to-day field operations of diverse commercial construction projects. Projects span multiple market sectors, including Hospitality, Education, Healthcare, Retail, and more, providing the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and high-profile projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction leader who takes ownership of the jobsite, builds strong relationships with subcontractors and project teams, and knows how to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. What You'll Do As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you will: Lead and manage all day-to-day construction activities on the jobsiteCoordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, deliveries, equipment, and materialsMaintain the project schedule and proactively address potential delaysPartner closely with Project Managers and other team members to ensure successful project executionReview drawings, specifications, schedules, and other construction documentsConduct and participate in project, subcontractor, and coordination meetingsMonitor workmanship and ensure established quality standards are consistently metEnforce site safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsiteMaintain accurate project documentation, including daily field reports, progress updates, and photographsCoordinate inspections and communicate with inspection authorities to secure required approvalsIdentify field challenges early and drive solutions to keep projects moving forwardCommunicate project progress, priorities, and potential issues across all levels of the project teamSupport successful project turnover and closeout What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction SuperintendentProven experience overseeing commercial construction projects and subcontractor teamsStrong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, and jobsite operationsAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, plans, and other construction documentsStrong scheduling and project coordination capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience with construction scheduling softwareComfortable using technology for field reporting, documentation, and digital photographyExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a deadline-driven environment Interested in Learning More?
