About the role

The Commercial Construction Superintendent will oversee on-site operations for construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards. This role involves managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and maintaining safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion and cost control.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, reports, and change orders.
• Ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment to avoid delays.

Requirements

• Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with clients.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and solve problems proactively.

Pay

Annual salary between $130,000 and $140,000 USD.
