Responsibilities

• Safely implements job site safety measures and ensures compliance with company safety policy.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as needed.
• Maintains and updates project schedules to meet cost and time requirements.
• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities, maintaining an organized job site.
• Directs field personnel to ensure project completion on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship.
• Communicates with stakeholders, including owners, project managers, and subcontractors, to address issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Prepares and sends weekly project updates and participates in project closeout.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of project strategy, financial goals, scheduling, logistics, and phasing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems proactively.
• Knowledge of contractual obligations and compliance with company policies.
• Proficiency in managing subcontractors and ensuring their financial capability and insurance information.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Experience with project closeout processes and preparation of final punch lists.
