Accounts Payable Specialist – Drive Financial Accuracy for a Growing Glazing Leader Job Overview Company: Professional GlassSalary/Pay Rate: $28.00-$32.00 per hour based on experience (plus Performance Based Bonus)Location: Thonotosassa, FLJob/Employment Type: Full TimeMandatory Licences & Certifications: None Required The Opportunity You will take ownership of vital job-cost accounting and accounts payable operations within a private equity-backed commercial glazing leader. This position gives you the platform to manage critical cash flows, vendor relationships, and balance sheet reconciliations in a collaborative environment. You will leverage your construction accounting expertise to fuel expansion and maintain financial precision. How You Will Make An Impact Enter, code, and route vendor and subcontractor invoices in Foundation, Sage, or Agave using accurate cost codes and classes.Match incoming invoices against purchase orders and subcontracts, routing any exceptions to project managers for swift approval.Prepare weekly check and ACH payment runs while maintaining the daily cash log and posting customer deposits.Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile vendor statements to resolve open items promptly.Execute month-end close duties, including prepaid amortization, accruals, fixed asset additions, and assigned balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare and submit the monthly Florida sales and use tax return (DR-15) accurately and on schedule.Review field timecards for job and cost code precision prior to weekly payroll cutoffs. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounts payable experience.At least 1 year of hands-on experience within a construction or job-cost accounting environment.Solid working knowledge of double-entry accounting, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to maintain high volume accuracy under weekly deadlines. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Experience working with Sage, Foundation, Agave, or Procore systems.Direct experience preparing and filing Florida sales and use tax (DR-15) returns.Possession of an Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
