Exempt/Officer/SVP role in Commercial Lending, Grade 14.

About the role

Primary responsibilities include developing new business, managing an existing loan portfolio, and ensuring adherence to credit, compliance, and operational policies.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop new business opportunities through client solicitation, industry engagement, and expansion of the existing client base.
• Underwrite loans by analyzing financial information and preparing and presenting credit approval memorandums.
• Document loans by ordering appraisals and environmental reports, issuing commitment letters, coordinating closings, and overseeing loan booking.
• Increase deposits from clients and generate non-interest fee income through interest risk hedging products, loan participation sales, and referrals to partner organizations.
• Manage and maintain the assigned loan portfolio, ensuring ongoing customer service and credit quality.
• Monitor portfolio credit quality, complete annual credit reviews, and handle periodic renewals in accordance with policy.
• Accurately enter and track portfolio status information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of commercial lending, underwriting, and portfolio management experience.
• Understanding of the commercial marketplace within the Bank’s target area.
• Familiarity with the Bank’s credit policy and guidelines.
• Knowledge of other Bank products and services for cross-selling purposes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to assume additional duties as required.

Pay

Salary range: $115,297 – $212,491. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
