Commercial Attorney (Healthcare Transaction Experience)

About the role

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a health law attorney to provide long-term transactional overflow support. This is an opportunity to build a lasting relationship with a collaborative legal team through a potentially long-term engagement.

Responsibilities

• Work on purchasing agreements involving clinical medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, diagnostics, and other goods and services
• Handle specialized membership agreements involving patient safety organizations and PHI sharing
• Manage lab services and supply agreements
• Address ad hoc Anti-Kickback and Stark Law matters

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant health law experience
• Experience in a transactional group within a hospital or health system preferred; attorneys from law firms with specialized healthcare practices may also be a fit

Schedule

• Project starts at the end of September
• Potentially 1+ years in duration
• Remote with a preference for CT/ET time zones
• 5–15 hours/week

Pay

• Hourly rate expected between $90 and $110
• Compensation based on qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law
