About the role
The Commercial Administrative Assistant supports the Commercial Banking area by providing administrative support and assistance, including record keeping, correspondence, report preparation, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Closely work with commercial bankers in closing and funding loans
- Prepare loans and assist in reviewing loan files for completeness
- Aid in loan documentation preparation
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests as directed by commercial bankers
- Provide courteous, professional services by receiving, screening, and transferring telephone calls and providing routine information to clients or customers
- Perform administrative support tasks such as typing, copying, correspondences, and reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Associate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of administrative experience required
- Experience in a bank environment, preferably in Commercial, Credit, or related departments is preferred
