Commercial Acquisition Account Executive

About the role

The Commercial Acquisition Account Executive (CAAE) is a direct quota carrier responsible for identifying and pursuing prospect accounts new to Softchoice. This role operates within Softchoice’s prescribed “Role of the Seller” model and uses the Challenger selling methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develop acquisition strategies and leverage vendor relationships to manage and develop accounts.
• Understand and align Softchoice’s capabilities with a customer’s desired business outcomes.
• Position Softchoice as a trusted strategic partner and overdeliver on customer expectations.
• Manage account management including processing quotes and orders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and resources to satisfy customer business objectives.

Requirements

Experience in a business-to-business sales environment, preferably in the technology industry. Solid business acumen, understanding of solution selling, and strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills are essential. Proficiency in Salesforce and Office 365 applications is required.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building is also necessary.

Skills

Strategic thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills are crucial. Ability to navigate and understand annual reports, financial data, and forecasting is important.

Pay

The expected base wage rate for this role is $55,000. Combined base plus incentives at target is $110,000. Details on additional compensation elements will vary based on individual performance and company policy.

Schedule

This is a remote position with an assigned territory including Toledo, OH and Detroit, MI. Candidates should be based in Toledo, Detroit, or the surrounding areas and be able to travel throughout the territory as needed.
