The role
This role is based in Houston (remote work within the region).
Responsibilities
- Lead with the customer at the forefront of everything you do, and consider selling to be a strategic partnership.
- Think differently about sales, and provide value by helping our customer bridge gaps in their business, and reach their goals through technology.
- Understand your customer's business thoroughly, to lead with personalized market insights, compelling cases for change and innovation, and help them see the path forward to success.
- Collaborate with executives from the world’s most innovative tech companies, to deliver fresh and bold new solutions.
- Take care of your fellow team members, upholding excellent business acumen, expertly managing your pipeline and showing true leadership when challenges arise.
- Invest in your potential, expecting you to constantly improve your game with training, education and the resources available to you in the Softchoice community.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a business-to-business sales environment, creating and executing a territory management plan. Bonus if in a relevant technology industry.
- Proven yourself as a tenacious sales person, pursuing net new clients, developing business and networking with passion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A high-level commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.
- Understanding of solution selling and creating value for business clients.
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A driven, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $72,000 annually + 45% as target incentives.
