Command Center Officer

Job Description

As a Command Center Officer, you help keep our resort safe, secure, and welcoming. This role blends security responsibilities with hospitality focused service, ensuring our guests, team members, and property are protected while creating a friendly and supportive environment. You maintain a visible presence, manage access points, respond to police, fire, or medical situations, and complete safety inspections and incident reports. By working closely with public safety partners and resort leadership, you help ensure everyone feels safe and cared for. You demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is preferred (minimum of 1 year), but not required
• Possession of a valid Unarmed Security Officer license (as required by the state of employment) is a plus; however, we will assist qualified candidates in obtaining this certification if needed
• Certificates in First Aid, CPR and AED highly preferred but not required
• Prior hospitality or guest service experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with basic computer systems used to complete reports, logs, and email communication
• Able to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations
• Excellent judgment, integrity, and attention to detail
