Responsibilities
- Support Command Aware coordination efforts to continuously update, maintain, and validate critical operational data
- AOR-Wide Field Coordination: Coordinate directly with field personnel to assist in planning and executing comprehensive, AOR-wide system and data updates
- Identity & Call Sign Management: Accurately update radios within the Command Aware platform with designated call signs and organize structural folders with radio user profiles
- Console Database Integration: Collaborate closely with TACCOM staff to implement, manage, and coordinate essential updates to the alias database for communication consoles
- Data Resilience & Governance: Follow established processes for data backup, secure storage, and historical tracking to preserve system auditing
- Standardization & Records Management: Utilize technical policies, operational procedures, and work instructions to maintain a robust records management framework
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network/Telecommunications Engineering or a related field AND 4+ years of work experience, OR Master's and 2+ years of experience, OR Associate and 6+ years of experience, OR High School diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience
- System Engineering Expertise: Experience operating as an IT Systems Engineer or Network & Systems Administrator within a complex enterprise environment
- Databases & Lifecycle Coordination: Experience performing large-scale data updates, tracking historical changes, and managing alias databases or configurations across distributed teams
- Data Continuity: Proven ability to execute reliable data backup, storage, and long-term records management procedures
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Platform Familiarity: Prior experience administering or coordinating within Motorola Command Aware or closely related tactical management suites
- Governance Writing: Experience working with and maintaining formal technical policies, compliance procedures, and organizational guidelines for federal or regulated systems
Benefits
- Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
Pay
- Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
Schedule
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week
