Responsibilities
- Lead Command Aware coordination efforts to continuously update, maintain, and validate critical operational data
- AOR-Wide Field Coordination: Synchronize directly with field personnel to plan, manage, and execute comprehensive, AOR-wide system and data updates
- Identity & Call Sign Management: Accurately update radios within the Command Aware platform with designated call signs and organize structural folders with radio user profiles
- Console Database Integration: Collaborate closely with TACCOM staff to implement, manage, and coordinate essential updates to the alias database for communication consoles
- Data Resilience & Governance: Establish, monitor, and enforce rigorous processes for data backup, secure storage, and historical tracking to preserve system auditing
- Standardization & Records Management: Draft technical policies, operational procedures, and work instructions to build a robust records management framework
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network/Telecommunications Engineering or a related field AND 12+ years of work experience, OR Doctorate and 8+ years of experience, OR Associate and 14+ years of experience, OR High School diploma/GED and 16+ years of experience
- System Engineering Expertise: Proven experience operating as an IT Systems Engineer or Network & Systems Administrator within a complex enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience coordinating large-scale data updates, tracking historical changes, and managing alias databases or configurations across distributed teams
- Proven ability to engineer and implement reliable data backup, storage, and long-term records management procedures
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and oversee teams to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Platform Familiarity: Prior experience specifically administering or lead-coordinating within Motorola Command Aware or closely related tactical management suites
- Governance Writing: Advanced background in authoring formal technical policies, compliance procedures, and organizational guidelines for federal or regulated systems
