About the role
Drive the maturation, integration, and deployment of new capabilities into a cutting edge USN and USCM over the horizon targeting system. Lead a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering and integration team.
Responsibilities
- Explore emerging and existing technologies across domains and classification levels, bridging sensors and tactical Navy combat networks to deliver unprecedented Over-the-Horizon Targeting (OTH-T) capabilities for Long-Range Fires.
- Act as the primary technical strategist helping to shape the evolution of a certified element of a combat system for long range fires.
Requirements
- Experience with technical project management, systems engineering, or capability development leadership within the DoD, Intelligence Community, or defense contracting ecosystem.
- Experience with US Navy Surface or Undersea Combat Systems and command architectures, such as Aegis, CANES, GCCS-M, SSDS, or DCGS-N.
- Experience directing or managing software or hardware system-of-systems integration and test events in laboratory, range, or simulated operational environments.
- Knowledge of space-to-tactical downlinks, national-to-tactical intelligence capabilities, Space Domain Awareness, or overhead persistent sensors.
- Knowledge of Joint Targeting cycles, Over-the-Horizon Targeting (OTH-T) architectures, and the kill chain elements required to support Long-Range Fires (LRF).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Systems Management field.
Skills
- Experience with Project Overmatch, Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiatives, and Joint Targeting systems.
- Experience working on software systems leveraging DevSecOps pipelines, containerization, including Kubernetes or Docker, and AWS cloud infrastructures.
- Experience with Navy, Space Force, Army, or Air Force Joint Fires, including operating in a Combat Information Center (CIC) or Maritime Operations Center (MOC).
- Knowledge of tactical data links, including Link 16 or CDL, message formats, and machine learning and fusion algorithms.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
