About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented professional to manage and scale our Colorado community of annual and mid-level individual donors (contributions up to $5,000). This position focuses on high-volume, systematic outreach to steward these relationships and build trust. You will prioritize donor retention and annual giving by customizing interactions and growing these relationships over time.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a relentless focus on donor retention and increasing annual giving within this portfolio by 30% year-over-year.
  • Partner with leadership to optimize and increase our volunteer-to-donor conversion rates, owning the day-to-day engagement initiatives that turn passionate volunteers into financial supporters.
  • Manage a high volume of donor touchpoints with an ownership mentality, using phone, email, and digital tools to deliver customized, meaningful interactions.
  • Communicate about Greenhouse using compelling stories, examples, and data consistent with our brand strategy to inspire each donor audience.
  • Connect supporters with the ideal giving and engagement pathways by matching their personal philanthropic goals with the organization’s strategic needs to develop a sustainable, long-term partnership.
  • Write, format, and edit high-quality presentations, proposals, and impact reports that convey Greenhouse’s mission in a professional, clear, and inspiring manner.
  • Identify and cultivate referrals from current annual supporters to steadily expand our Colorado donor base.
  • Maintain meticulous, up-to-date donor records and interaction history within Salesforce to ensure accurate tracking of the relationships and annual giving pipeline.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is mandatory. Have 4-7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, account management, or high-volume customer success. Establish trust and build long-term, high-quality relationships for the organization. Have experience with writing grant proposals. Be positive, engaging, and entrepreneurial. Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills. Have strong attention to detail, especially regarding written proposals and reports. Salesforce and WealthEngine fluency is a plus.

Pay

$70,000-$80,000 depends on experience
