Key Responsibilities The Color Matcher will be responsible for the mixing, formulating, and application of coatings and tints in order to protect/decorate surfaces using spray guns, pens, or brushes. He/she will also provide warehouse support when required, assisting warehouse management and staff in ensuring our customers receive an exceptional product and service. Mix, formulate, and apply coatings and tints to sample materialsRead job orders and inspect surfaces to determine procedures and materials requiredProperly clean and prepare surfaces for various coating and tinting jobsInspect finished product for color accuracyMaintain tools and equipment in proper working orderProvide warehouse support when required, assisting with inventory management, shipping/receiving, forklift operation, etc.Sort and organize merchandise so that it can be easily locatedKeep records of items received and damaged merchandise returnedProvide support to customers when neededWork with other members of the distribution team to increase company profitability and overall customer satisfactionCheck product against orders for accuracyEnsure all orders leave the facility in a manner consistent with Richelieu Core ValuesMaintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as requiredFollow company policies and proceduresMaintain a safe and clean work environmentRequired Continually: standing, the utilization of hand and finger dexterity, and the utilization of visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboardRequired Frequently: walking, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling or crawling, lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds, working near moving mechanical parts, and working around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicalsHours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm What We Are Looking For Related experience in a similar positionMust be able to, or be willing to learn how to, operate a forkliftCapable of standing for long periods of time, with the ability to bend and reach overheadAbility to lift more than 50 lbs.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsExcellent driving record, free of violationsHigh school diploma required, 1 or more years of post high school studies preferred Compensation And Benefits Competitive market-based hourly rateGroup insurance program (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.)Employee Stock Purchase Plan401(K)Paid vacation and holidays The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
