Collision Paint/Prep Technicians Needed for Growing Monroeville Collision Center

What You'll Do

• Prepare vehicles and parts for the painting process.
• Perform sanding, masking, scuffing, priming, and other paint preparation duties.
• Prepare new and repaired parts for paint.
• Perform cut-in and paint preparation work as needed.
• Inspect surfaces and repairs to identify imperfections before vehicles move into the paint process.
• Properly mask and protect vehicles and components during the preparation and painting process.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Follow established repair procedures and safety guidelines.
• Work closely with body technicians, painters, estimators, and other collision center personnel to keep repairs moving efficiently.
• Complete work accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive, collision, or paint preparation experience preferred.
• Experience with sanding, masking, priming, or other paint preparation work is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and repair procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates who have automotive experience, technical training, or the right attitude and desire to learn the trade.
