Collision Center Parts Employee - Vancouver, WA | Dick Hannah Dealerships

Responsibilities

• Aid the shop in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Receive parts in the Body Shop indoor Parts Department.
• Check to ensure all parts have arrived and are accounted for on the shipping invoice.
• Notify the Estimator when special ordered parts have been received.
• Check packaging and parts for physical damage.
• Update production notes and repair plans to keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently.
• Relocate parts to parts carts or storage bins.
• Identify the correct part for the one being replaced.
• Mov[e] and roll parts carts to various locations in the indoor facility.
• Monitor parts inventory using an iPhone or laptop computer.
• Break down cardboard boxes for recycling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• 1-2 years of experience in an automotive or heavy equipment parts department (preferred).
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems.
• Personal appearance consistent with the company's standards.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours a day.
