College Work Study Program (Student Leadership and Engagement)
Job Summary
Student Leadership and Engagement needs a student to assist with routine office activities such as answering phones, filing, typing, mail deliveries, copying, making student/faculty IDs, updating flyers on bulletin boards, assisting with student events, and other assigned duties.
Job Duties
- Operate office equipment such as telephone, fax machine, copier, and ID machine. Greet office visitors, and answer and document all phone calls.
- Update event flyers on assigned bulletin boards around campus. Participate in setup, process, and breakdown of student events.
- Log Students who visit the game room and assist with maintaining order in the student game room.
- Provide student surveys after events.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College.
- Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
