About the role

The Family Place empowers survivors of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling, and skills that create independence while building community engagement and advocating for social change to stop family violence. As a Counseling Student Intern, you will gain hands‑on clinical experience providing trauma‑informed, survivor‑centered counseling to youth and adults who have experienced family or domestic violence under the direct supervision of a licensed professional (LPC, LCSW, or equivalent).
