College Co-op: Provider Contract Administration Analyst
About the role
Provider contract administration involves managing the entire lifecycle of agreements between healthcare payers (insurers) and providers (doctors, hospitals) to ensure compliance, accurate reimbursement, and smooth operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of standard agreements between Independence and AmeriHealth with ancillary providers
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable policies, regulations, and financial standards
- Serve as a liaison by maintaining and updating standard contract templates
- Track obligations and renewals
- Support ongoing contract monitoring and assist with issue resolution as needed
Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills
- Effective communication skills
- Managing competing priorities to deliver high-quality projects on time.
Qualifications
- Accepted Majors: Business Administration, Business Management
- Classification: Junior or Senior undergraduate students, Recent graduate (must be within one year or less of the program start date)
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
