How Role Will Make an Impact
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Sustainment
- Supports live and constructive Mission Command training
- Maintains currency with doctrinal publications from TRADOC and provides the latest training Operational Procedures (OPORDs) and scenarios
- Maintains flexibility in team member composition to provide modular training support for low-density branches such as chemical, sustainment, aviation, engineers, fires, etc.
- Works with the Training Unit Commander (TUC) to manipulate OPORDs or scenarios to meet the unit’s needs and provide a realistic training event
Requirements
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required
- Previous senior Army leadership experience with a training management background and preferably CTC experience
- A Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with primary staff experience in the specific primary War Fighting Function at Battalion or higher
- Preferred recent experience working within the ARNG training support system or a similar system
- At least 6 years’ combined staff experience within the specific Warfighting Function (or similar), or 8 years’ specialized Military Combat Training Support Program (MCTSP) experience in this type of duty position
- Recent experience working with Warfighting Functional Area Army MCIS
