How Role Will Make an Impact
- Determines expertise in Fires
- Serves as subject matter expert for mission command training
- Maintains up-to-date with TRADOC doctrine and provides TUCs with the latest training orders and scenarios
- Maintains flexibility in team composition to support various units like chemical, sustainment, aviation, engineers, and fires
- Collaborates with TUC to adapt training orders or scenarios to meet specific unit needs
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Previous senior Army leadership experience with a training management background, preferably including CTC experience
- Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with primary staff experience at Battalion or higher
- Preferred recent experience as a Battalion or higher commander (or similar)
- Specialized functional areas could include 04/MAJ, E8/MSG, CW2/Warrant Officer with battalion-level experience
- At least 6 years’ combined staff experience within the specific Warfighting Function (or similar), or 8 years’ specialized MCTSP experience
- Recent experience working within the ARNG training support system, or a similar system
- 2 or more years’ experience working with Warfighting Functional Area Army MCIS
