How Role Will Make an Impact

  • Determines expertise in Fires
  • Serves as subject matter expert for mission command training
  • Maintains up-to-date with TRADOC doctrine and provides TUCs with the latest training orders and scenarios
  • Maintains flexibility in team composition to support various units like chemical, sustainment, aviation, engineers, and fires
  • Collaborates with TUC to adapt training orders or scenarios to meet specific unit needs

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Previous senior Army leadership experience with a training management background, preferably including CTC experience
  • Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with primary staff experience at Battalion or higher
  • Preferred recent experience as a Battalion or higher commander (or similar)
  • Specialized functional areas could include 04/MAJ, E8/MSG, CW2/Warrant Officer with battalion-level experience
  • At least 6 years’ combined staff experience within the specific Warfighting Function (or similar), or 8 years’ specialized MCTSP experience
  • Recent experience working within the ARNG training support system, or a similar system
  • 2 or more years’ experience working with Warfighting Functional Area Army MCIS
