About the role
The role involves managing emergency response efforts at the Carl Patterson Museum, ensuring the safety of artifacts and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with local authorities during emergencies
- Develop and implement emergency response plans
- Maintain and update museum facilities to prevent damage from natural disasters
- Oversee the evacuation of visitors in case of an emergency
- Document and report all incidents and damages
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in emergency management or museum operations
- Knowledge of local emergency protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with disaster preparedness and response
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
