Full-Time, 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
About the role
R+L Carriers is looking for a Driver Authorization Clerk to work at our Wilmington, Ohio service center. As a Driver Authorization Clerk, you will handle phone calls from local drivers and customers to assist in providing authorization to release freight for delivery or return freight in certain circumstances. You will review multiple billing queues to determine credit and authorize collect shipments, identify necessary billing changes, coordinate those changes with Corrections, and communicate with internal and external contacts for resolution assistance as needed.

Requirements
- Computer literate and able to type 60 wpm
- Professional, self-motivated, energetic, and excellent attendance
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Result-oriented and solution-driven
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products
Qualifications
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Freight logistics experience
